In my neck of the woods, February is the month to look for the migrating snow geese. You often hear them before you see them, honking their way across the sky as they make their way back to their home in the Arctic tundra in their iconic v-pattern. There are a few locations in my area where they layover to refuel before continuing their journey north, and it’s worth it to go spend time  just absorbing the energy, the noise, the beauty.  This was the inspiration for this collection.
